  • Bluetooth Permission: Required to search for, connect to, and use Bluetooth label printers for name tag printing.

2. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

Unipicker collects only the essential personal information required to provide the service upon registration. This includes email address and name. If a user signs up via Google, we collect the Google account email. Additional information may be requested for certain services, events, or features, but will not be used for any other purposes.

 

Unipicker’s clients (companies) may upload entry personal information (such as name, mobile number, email, company, job title) to the Unipicker system for event purposes. In such cases, the responsibility for collecting and managing the data belongs to the client. Unipicker acts as a service provider and performs only technical tasks such as storing the data, sending mobile tickets, printing badges, and managing entry, as requested by the client.

 

[Device Access Permissions]

Unipicker may request the following access permissions on your device:

  • Camera: Required for QR code scanning to support check-in, access control, and auto-filling information. No photos or videos are stored or transmitted.
  • USB: Required to connect and use a label printer for issuing name tags for event participants (Android devices only).
  • Bluetooth: Required to search for, connect to, and use Bluetooth label printers for name tag printing (Android devices only).

Users can control access permissions at any time via device settings. Denial of permissions may limit the availability of certain features.

3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

Unipicker retains user information only while the user remains a member and uses the service. Upon account deletion, all personal information is permanently deleted from the hard drive and cannot be restored or reused.

Personal data will be destroyed once the purpose of collection is fulfilled. However, the following information will be retained for specified periods:

a. Based on internal policy:

Record of misuse

Purpose: Prevent fraudulent use

Retention: 1 month

b. Based on applicable laws:

Records of contract or withdrawal: 5 years

Records of customer complaints/disputes: 3 years

Identity verification records: 6 months

Website visit logs: 3 months

 

4. Viewing and Editing Personal Information

Users can view or edit their personal information anytime via the Member Info Edit page on the EventBoot website. To change an ID, users must delete their account and re-register.

5. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information

Unipicker does not share personal information without user consent. Exceptions apply if required by law or if a user harms others or public order using the service. In some cases, information may be shared with business partners to improve services, but users will be informed in advance and their consent will be obtained. Without consent, no additional information will be collected or shared.

6. Handling of Entry Information Uploaded by Clients

Unipicker handles personal information of event entries (such as name, mobile number, email address, company name, and job) uploaded by the client (event organizer) only for event-related purposes such as sending mobile tickets, managing check-ins, and printing name badges. We manage this information safely as a service provider, under the client’s request.

Unipicker does not collect this information directly, and the responsibility for collecting and using it belongs to the client.

The information is deleted within one month after the event ends and will not be reused or used for any other purpose. Electronic data is permanently deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery.

7. Destruction Procedure and Method

After the purpose is fulfilled, information is moved to a separate database (or storage) and destroyed after the retention period. Paper documents are shredded or incinerated, and digital records are deleted using irreversible technical methods.

8. Protection Measures

Login credentials (via Google or email) protect user accounts. Users are responsible for keeping their login information secure. Passwords should be strong and changed regularly. Logging out and closing the service after use is recommended.

Unipicker takes the following technical and administrative measures:

 

① Passwords are encrypted and inaccessible even to administrators.

② Encrypted communication is used to protect data during transmission.

③ Security systems are in place to prevent data leaks due to hacking or viruses.

④ Regular backups and antivirus software protect against data loss.

⑤ Access controls and vulnerability assessments are conducted regularly.

⑥ Only authorized staff can access personal data, and staff receive regular training.

⑦ A dedicated privacy officer monitors compliance and responds to issues promptly.

⑧ The Company is not liable for damages caused by user negligence or issues outside its control.
